On Tuesday Raegan had her one month check-up. She weighed in at a happy and healthy 10 pounds 6 ounces (60th percentile) and was 22.5 inches long (75th percentile). The doctor said she's perfect and is doing great. Everyone keeps saying she's going to be tall and so far they are right. My favorite is her long fingers and toes (see previous photos).
Today was Raegan's blessing. Derek gave a beautiful blessing despite being a little nervous. He's such a great dad; so thoughtful and loving. We were lucky enough to have our families come into town for the weekend. Grandma and Granpda Adams and Great Grandma and Grandpa Hendrix made the trip. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Aunts Ali and Emily also came. On Saturday we all hung out at Lori's cousin's home here in town. They were nice enough to let us use their home while they were out of town for the weekend. We ate, swam in the pool, watched football (Nevada was embarrased by Notre Dame, but at least BYU came through with a more entertaining game and the W) , and ate some more. It was a nice relaxing weekend. Derek goes back to school on Tuesday and I officially start my new adventures in "stay-at-home motherhood." Wish me luck! This week my two goals are to address and mail Raegan's baby announcements and finish my last couple of cases for work. If I wait any longer the announcement won't even look like her. I figure if I post my intentions here I'm more likely to follow through. We'll see!

Sounds like a fabulous weekend! Sorry we couldn't make it. Wish I had been feeling better to come, but I didn't want to be the party pooper. ;) Raegan looks beautiful on her blessing day! We can't wait to meet her soon. Hopefully next month!
