Sun and the sand

This past weekend our bishop took the young men and women of the ward to Corona Del Mar for a day of fun at the beach. The trip was a reward for the boys and girls who read The Book of Mormon during the past year. Since my calling is Priest quorum advisor, I got to tag along. I thought it would be a lot of fun to take Tristin and Raegan since a couple of the other adults were taking their families along too. Needless to say, we had a blast. The weather was perfect and the water was just bearable. Raegan had fun wandering around and playing in the sand and water.

Here's our little explorer at work.

Raegan took a couple of spills during the day and ended up with a face full of sand. I tried body surfing (I think that is what it's called) for the first time. I got hooked and spent a couple hours "surfing."
What a great looking family. I'm so glad Tristin and Raegan were able to come along with me. Thanks Tristin for letting me have so much fun. I definitely think we'll head back in the future.

We were shocked to find another blog entry so soon. That did look like a fun family activity. Raegan's hair is really coming in. By the holidays she have a full head of hair. Now if she'll just let you fix it:) XOXO, Lyle & Lori

Looks like you had a great time. I love the beach. Kyle is from California and we end up going out there every few months or so. The one thing I don't like is how cold the water is all the time. Reagan is getting so big! she's a great mix between you and Tristan.
Hope you guys are doing well.
Love ya!
