This guy is now 6 months old. He was born exactly half way through the year and turned 6 months old on New Years Day. Man, that went by super fast. Greyson also just got his first tooth a few days ago. He's very good at sitting up and rolling over. Crawling is not too far away. He's a messy eater. So far he's only had rice, oatmeal, and most fruits and vegetables (bananas, apples, pears, peaches, peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash). He's now starting to like the green stuff a little less, but doesn't appear to be too picky. Greyson will finally take a bottle with no problems and two 1 1/2 hour naps each day. He still wakes up once during the night around 3:00 for a little snack and wakes up early each morning (anything before 7 is early right?). Anyone got any ideas to help him sleep through the night? I've tried to let him cry it out but I can only take so much before I cave.
Raegan is one of his favorite people. She can get the best belly laughs out of him. She also plays a little rough with him at times, but Greyson is tough and handles her abuse very well. He barely even cries anymore. He's a very chill dude and is excellent at going with the flow. He just spends the day either playing on the floor with his toys or going to town in his jumper. Boy does he love that thing.
Greyson has his Daddy's (and Raegan's) beautiful blue eyes and man is he pale. He may be the palest of our family which is saying something. He's on track to be taller than Derek. Derek was 28 inches at 6 months and Greyson is 29 (95%). Greyson now weighs 19 lbs 4 oz (95%). He sure is big but that only means there's more of him to love!

I am doing this on my kindle so its gonna be short. Cute!!!!!
cute boy. and BIG boy!
reese starting waking up a couple weeks ago too. i was feeding her every time and she would fall right back asleep and i felt like i was just encouraging her to wake up. i tried letting her cry it out, didn't work. finally, i decided to go in and hold her still, but stopped feeding her and would just rock her back to sleep ... she screamed and screamed. but by the third night of it, she didn't scream. and then she was done. she's back to sleeping through the night. so, in short: try to stop feeding him, just hold him, and see what happens.
i think it's pretty common for them to stop slping through the night. just gotta figure out how to make them sleep again :). good luck.
