Diaper Bandit

We woke up this morning to find Raegan in her crib diaperless. She has never done this before. She also left us a little memento in the crib. Thanks Raegan!

Go Pack!

Today is going to be a huge game for Nevada. My guess is if Nevada wins they'll crack the Top 25 for the first time that I can remember. Unfortunately BYU is on a down year, so I think Nevada will take advantage of that misfortune and have a field day running the ball.

Sun and the sand

This past weekend our bishop took the young men and women of the ward to Corona Del Mar for a day of fun at the beach. The trip was a reward for the boys and girls who read The Book of Mormon during the past year. Since my calling is Priest quorum advisor, I got to tag along. I thought it would be a lot of fun to take Tristin and Raegan since a couple of the other adults were taking their families along too. Needless to say, we had a blast. The weather was perfect and the water was just bearable. Raegan had fun wandering around and playing in the sand and water.

Here's our little explorer at work.

Raegan took a couple of spills during the day and ended up with a face full of sand. I tried body surfing (I think that is what it's called) for the first time. I got hooked and spent a couple hours "surfing."
What a great looking family. I'm so glad Tristin and Raegan were able to come along with me. Thanks Tristin for letting me have so much fun. I definitely think we'll head back in the future.

Summer Fun

A lot has happened since the last posting. We left off last time with our trip to Anaheim and the Angels baseball game. The day after the game we headed to San Diego so check out Balboa part and take Raegan to Coronado Island and the beach.
It's hard to tell but that is Tristin and Raegan playing on the beach. Raegan loved playing in the sand and getting dirty. Earlier in the day, as I said earlier, we went to Balboa Park to check out the sights. They had this little train ride that went around the park. Raegan seemed to enjoy the ride. The family in front of this huge fig tree. It was planted about 100 years ago as part of some international summit or something. Some creepy guy offered to take the picture for us.
Raegan really loved walking around the ponds at the botanical garden. They had some huge koi fish that she wanted to touch.
The highlight of the day was watching Raegan and Mom ride the carousel. The longer the ride went the more Raegan seemed not like it. By the end of the ride she was screaming. What a good sport!
Back home in Vegas. We headed back to Vegas before heading up to Fallon to see the rest of the family. We made Raegan sport the "Flock of Seagulls" hairdo.
When we headed to Fallon we spent lots of time with family. We went to the park one day with Kyle, Corinne, Caylee and Coral. I think Raegan looks so grown up in this picture walkin' around doing her own thing.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
We had a pool party/BBQ at Grampa and Gramma J's house.
Raegan thought she was a big girl sitting at the kid's table.

Angels in the outfield

Being the huge sports fans that we are, our first day on vacation was spent in Anaheim at Angels Stadium watching the Angels take on the Toronto Bluejays. This was Raegan's first baseball game and we were excited. We had to get some of the pre-game wiggles out of Raegan so we spent some time before the game running around.

We were lucky enough to have some guy offer to take a picture of us in exchange for taking a picture of his family. It worked out well for us, unfortunately the battery in his camera was dead.

It was so hot during the game. Mom and Dad both got fried. Raegan was the only smart one who put on any sunblock. She was a little trooper. She must have drank 3 or 4 bottles of water during the game.

Unfortunately we lost the game, but it was still a lot of fun. I think every game we've gone to the home team has lost, so maybe we're bad luck.
